Iloilo Golf & Country Club, Inc. formerly Santa Barbara Golf Course is considered as the oldest golf course in the Philippines by the National Historical Institute. This course has gone through many historical changes since the early 1900s. It began as a 9-hole course before being rebuilt as an 18-hole private, members-only course.
The course is designed with plenty of trees, tall hills, and rolling terrains. Water hazards are around throughout the fairways. This creates a difficult playing field for even the most inexperienced players. Old Mahogany and other hardwood trees can be seen on the terrain of the golf course.
Its amenities met the requirements of most players. From the modern clubhouse with tee houses, restaurant, and practice areas. It also even has a museum filled with golf memorabilia and archives showcasing it for over 100 years.
